Grainau – the perfect place for your stay
The Ferienhaus Wetterstein is located in the well known Zugspitz village of Grainau. The village is one of the most beautifully situated places in the Bavarian Alps – directly under the Zugspitze, the highest mountain in Germany – about 100 km south of Munich and 6 km southwest of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
The five districts of Grainau are spread over a spacious, park-like area and are ideal starting points for your stay – whether in winter or summer. Climatically well situated, Grainau is almost free of fog and is characterised by a multitude of recreational and sports facilities. The traditional character of the village has been preserved until today due to the strict building regulations.
